I do not prefer the Hunter Green either.
However you might try the Black, Tan, Brown, and Olive... (like the old BDUs).
Or just go with the 3 color camo (Black, Olive, Brown):

I was trying to find the colors for the old bdu. No brown though. Have some more stores to check this week.
I redid the green on the side and the olive and sand together doesn't look bad either

The last one is iffy to me because the black and sand don't look good together

i thought about urban but if i cannot find brown, how am i going to find red.
i thought about arctic also. it would rock the most but i think it would attract alot of attention, not the good type either. here, working on base and this town being a big hunting town, i can blend in (he he he) with a camouflage paint job

Something that I plan on doing.. if/when I camo my XJ is to paint the emblems one of the colors that is it not back grounded by.. Example. The JEEP should be olive drab since the rest of the area around it is black.

that'll be cool. our digital camo is very impressive. the first time i saw it i was at one of hte chow halls at ft eustis. i had been out since 98 so when i left, we were still using normal camo, like the pic at the top of this page. this marine came in and i was thinking what the hell is this, we don't train other countries here. then when he was really close i saw the strips for the branch and name and i was like "holy cow, that is badass camo".

we'll see how it turns out. at least spray paint is cheap so you can change your paint pretty regularly till you find something you like

I still like the woodland camo, IMO...cause it all woods up here.
But its not like hiding would matter...cause youde have to be pretty deaf not to hear me coming
