A proper front 4 link will flex well beyond its useable range before any sort of binding

I know but a lot of em you see aren't "proper" and bind before they reach their potential flex.

Pretty hard to screw a 4 link up that much to cause binding.

Now, getting the geometry right is another thing, but you can make the same mistakes setting up a 3 link

Not all. Just shows that you don't have to worry about a link magically coming off if you build it right.

I agree. a lot of 4 links are just thrown in...not "tuned in"...that's where the typical bindings occur...not necessarily an inferior setup...more installer error.

I run a 3 link without a swaybar and it is very predictable, handles great, and tracks as straight as an arrow.
Wow, that must be the case then. His rig would swerve left and right quite a bit on the road up to Wheelers pass and he had mentioned his handling...or lack there of...lol (Plus no sway bar)

Just get the RK triple threat upgrade. Its both. You could try it both as a 3 and a 4link and see wich one you like better.

I think either kit will work just fine for you.

I personally like the RK 3 link better. But that's just my opinion

I'm only running 11" travel, so it really isn't an issue.

How much travel would you need to make a good 4link bind I wonder. Seems like you would have to limit strap way before that becomes an issue so that your coils dont come out and stuff like that. I think it would only be a problem for one of those guys that removes the coils and shocks to get RTI ramp flex.

It binds throughout travel, be it 3" of travel or 30." the setup from the factory binds. It's not a big deal.
