That is good to know, quality is better..

Well I put about 1,000 miles on my TreadWright 31/10.5/15's and have aired them down to 10-15psi for the beach and they ran fantastic in the sand. After the sand "cleaned" the tires you could definitely tell they are retreads. I have NO problems with them so far...Tj
P.S. even though they say 31/10.5 they are in reality 30.9 high /8 wide.

Had the same thought... which also lead my brain to thinking about 16" wheels. Maybe it's easier to find 32s for 16s??

32's are a popular size in new tires so casings are probably damn near impossible to get.

Yea, I have been debating on moving to a 16" rim and getting treadwrights 265/75/16. I think I will end up just buying some Maxxis Big Horns in the 32x11.50x15 flavor though.

I measured my 31x10.50 MT-G's and they measure right at 10" wide and are on BFG KO casings and that's unmounted.

I have the 31" mts (the style that isn't an mtr copy). I need to get 2 due to driving 3 hours home without realizing I destroyed my tie rod on the trail. I was going to get the same ones, but then I found

http://stonetire.com/store/otd/

they look the same, but I e-mailed the company and asked how many rows of tread blocks they had and he said 4 for a 31x10.5. Treadwright has 5. I would rather have 2 rows in the middle than 3, but I can attest to the quality of treadwright and know nothing about the quality of stone tire.

has anyone used these or heard of them

I have a set of the OTR ultra grip and they are awesome off road. But they are way to soft, when all the sand was on the ground cause of the snow the bigger chunks would get caught in the tread. Honestly I can't tell if it is the walnut shells coming out or the rocks going in. But I now have holes in the tread, so it's almost like they are siped.

TreadWright's New Website

May 1, 2009

On May 1, 2009 we are launching our new website, www.treadwright.com. Our new user friendly format will make finding the tires we offer easier and more informative. In addition you will also be able to see more then one angle of the tread design as well as video's of some of the tires in action. We will also have a video contest that you can submit your videos to for great prizes. Don't forget to vote on the videos that are posted in the contests! Sign up and you will also be kept up to date of any new sizes or tread designs that we will be offering. We do have several new sizes and addtional tread design offerings planned for 2009.

We are the kind of company that will not send you daily or even weekly emails. Unless we have something important to tell you we won't send you an email. If you have been our customer for any amount of time you can probably count on one hand the number of emails you have recieved from us. This will continue to be the case. However, if you do confirm, then you will recieve email letting you know of important events, such as the launch of our new website. You will also be alerted to when the 265/75R16 and 265/70R17 become available in the ATB and MTG tread patterns. When the 275/70R18 become available in the ATB you will be alerted to this. We are also working on bring back the 315/70R17 and 37x12.50R16.5 sizes after many requests. Email will also be the media we use to alert you to any available promotional discounts.

Thank you for all your support and we look forward to having you on the new website!
