So I've been reading a lot about tires, and trying to decide which tires I wanted to get for my XJ. After a lot of research I came across TreadWright tires. These are retreads so initially I was very leary. However, I tried and tried to find something negative about them. The only bad things I could ever find about them where from people who had never tried them that said "you get what you pay for". So after finally after looking at the price and regular tires, I decided that it was worth it to give them a shot. For only $73.45 a tire I couldnt pass them up.
Customer Service:
First, I called them, and asked them a few questions, which the live person on the other end was more then happy to answer. I decided on the 31x10.5x15 ATB's. Which appear to be very similar to the BFG A/T T/A's. I was told that it would be 3-4 days before they where shipped, then 3-4 days for shipping. Boy was I surprised when I received shipping notification 6hrs later! They arrived 3 days later!
Tires:
They arrived this evening and Im very pleased, they definitely pass the eyeball test. You can barely see where the cap was placed on the donor carcass. I'm not sure if you didnt know it was there if you could even tell. I'm having them mounted tomorrow then I will add on a driving review. Here are some pics of unmounted:

Not to be "Johny Rain Cloud" but check your local laws, most states will not let you run retreads in the front of a vehicle. Michigan being one of them..

I have had my treadwright retreads for about 10 months now. I have some 30" ATs that have wheeled just as good as a $200 tire. Great company, great product, and I will def. be picking my MTs up from them as well. Guy that mounted them didn't even realize until he was done that they were retreads...gotta look closely.
