Well I already bought stock replacement leaf springs from Quadratec, well the HD ones, I am just worried about replacing the shackles, I have heard that if I snap the bolt that holds the shackle in place I have to drop the fuel tank, cut a hole in the frame and put a nut and bolt through there.

Yeah man, by all means if have replacement leaves that is superior to a XJ bastard pack. Don't let a little difficult job stand in your way. There is plenty of lift advice on this forum. My last Cherokee was from Michigan and I just used cans of PB blaster on everything and neither of my shackle bolts broke.

I mean you either do it or pay someone to do it.
