Trany / T-Converter Combo
What is the beat transmission and t case combo that I can get for my 1995 XJ HO w/ dana 30 and c 8.25 ? I'm looking for the strongest ones.

AW4 and AX-15 are very strong. As are the NP242 and NP231. Seriously for all intents and purposes they are the same in stock form.
What do you want to do? Stock 4.0L? Keeping the rest stock?

NV5600s and T56s are both pretty strong and get be built like crazy.

strongest? manual or auto? auto i'd say the suncoast OM3GA is the strongest i know of... i think it can handle 1800lb/ft of torque. though i think a stock 4L85E is rated for something stupid like 850 lb/ft. NV5600s and T56s are both pretty strong and get be built like crazy.
