I was looking on CL and found this XJ http://automotivesalestx.com/invento...74471#photos-2. Towards the bottom of this link, there is a picture of two switches side by side. One is the windshield washer switch and the other is a pic of a transmission then says' comfort. What is that??

 

Changes the shift firmness/points. My uncles old toyota 4x4 v6 had that also.

you could use it when offroad or when pulling a trailer or big hills. If im not mistaken, his would shift a lil firmer and the shift point got bumped up about 200 rpms higher. I used to have one in my S10 from B&M and it changed my line preasure, on switch position 2, my S10 when I got on it would chirp the tires switching into second and third
