Default transmission swap
I have a 94 grand cherokee 4.0, and my tranny just went out. I have a buddy with a trans from a 99 grand from the 4.0 engine. I am wondering if anyone knows if these trans are interchangeable or how could I figure this out?

I think the electronic side of the transmission differs between the two.
