Transmission First Gear Shifting Issue
I have a 1994 Jeep Cherokee. Sometimes it will shift normal but most of the time it has issues shifting out of first gear. To make it shift out of first gear I have to let my foot off of the gas then it will shift. I changed out the TCM and the TCU. Changing out the TCU fixed my idle issues but thats it. If i disconnect the TCM I can shift it fine through the gears manually. I changed the transmission fluid and filter. I was told to clean the transmission cooling lines and make sure that there not plugged. What am I missing.
