Default Trailer Hitch Question

Just got a trailer hitch from a guy I work with for 20 bucks, I held it up to the frame and all I need are some nuts and bolts. What's the easiest way to attach it? I don't see any points of access for the nuts, do I have to cut into the frame in order to attach/tighten them to the bolts? Any help would be much appreciated!

You'll need some nut strips. A few companies make them and they came factory with the tow package.

Both carry the nut strips for the unibody. You'll have to pretty much remove the rear bumper to get them in. You should only need the drivers side nut strip because the passenger side already has it in there. You'll also want to use grade 10.9 bolts.

I can't stress enough that you need to use grade 10.9 bolts and nothing less. Thats what came on the hitch from the factory.

If you have a Uhaul nearby see if you can get a hardware kit for the hitch. Comes with all the bolts and nutstrips. Not all of the stores will sell just the hardware, but i used to be the "Hitch-Pro" at a store here and sold em all the time.

You don't need nut stripes... you can do something like this with some nuts and bolts:
