In my opinion you need to take condition, mileage, and true market value into consideration on both vehicles.
Furthermore I would personally take practicallity into consideration. Do you really need all the room of a mini van? Do you have children? Will they fit safely and comfortably into the Cherokee?
Also I would consider fuel mileage on both vehicles.
Maintenance issues can be a deal breaker as well. Does the Cherokee have big dollar items that need replacing, such as tires? What about repair costs.... Are you mechanically inclined? Or will you be taking the Cherokee to the shop. Compare prices on parts at Autozone.com for each vehicle,to get an idea of what certain parts cost for each vehicle.
Take a long hard look at what vehicle you are getting out of vs what you are getting into. Does it seem right in your gut(always go with your gut)
Oh and compare insurance prices on each.
Only you know the answer to your question, but given the things I have mentioned, may make your choice easier. Whatever you decide... Good luck.
