I was parked getting ready to leave the store when out of nowhere some guy in a white Nissan Titan decided to slam into the back of my jeep, Luckily it just rubbed some paint off the drivers side bumper, his on the other hand...not so lucky! he's looking at a whole new bumper at least, anyways I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried to touch up there bumper???? how did it turn out and what did you use???? I can get factory paint at the dealership or aftermarket at the auto shop....now keep in mind this is a spot about the size of my thumb ( I'm a short, average sized woman if that helps ) I would like to hear a little feedback before I attempt to do this myself.

Need to repaint the whole bumper. Or it will stand out like a sore thumb. Feather out the rubbed area. Scuff up the rest. Prime, topcoat, and clear. A paint shop can get the number off your XJ. Or take it to a body shop, let them fix it. And bill his insurance.
