so in preperation for winter i decided to winterize the cherokee. ouch! the front hub universals were shot, $24 each (spicers), the tranny filter, $32, front axel tube seals, $5.50 each, silicone sealent, $6.75. 9 quarts of axel oil, 6 quarts of tranny fluid, 6 quarts of antifreeze, and 6 quarts distilled water. ill be chainging both axel fluids, tranny fluid, transfer case fluid, coolent, u- joints, tightening and rehanging exhaust. all the fun starts monday. good thing i have a vehicle lift! wish me luck.
