Mine gets driven 70+ miles a day right now. I'm not sacrificing off-road performance on a set of tires, unless I get a whole other set just for the pavement.

I know some guys with beefy off road tires that drive them alot too. To each their own. For any road condition and maybe a little putting around in the woods though, Michelins are totally fine. And their on road performance is fantastic.

I have yet to find a better all around AT tire than a Firestone Destination AT. Great treadwear, dead silent, impeccable road manners. Beasts in snow. Good on rocks. Respectable in light mud.

For a cheap MT I like my Maxxis Buckshots. Looks like I'm going to get about 30k miles out of them.

For deep sand, worn out and bald passenger tires work best. On a split rim.

Ha! This!
Funny thing is, this is at least partially true. Tho I wouldnt suggest the split rims, bald passenger tires work the best in sand. I live in MI and theres a company called "Mac Woods Dune Rides" that give rides around the dunes (duh). They use bald airplane tires on all their rigs and ive never heard or seen one stuck.

Iv been running 33" BFG KM2's on my jeep for bout 20,000 miles and still have over half tread they have low road noise and they do great off road, rocks, mud, loose terrain just a good all around tire.

IMO for offroad rigs BFG KM2's, Goodyear Kevlar MT/R's, MAXXIS Creepy Crawler, IROK & Super Swamper LTB are some of the best tires on the market

Are we talking on road and offroad tires or just plain offroad? What about creepy crawlers?

For those of you who have ran KM2's, how do they fair in the snow? I'm running BFG AT's and they're really disappointing me so far(minnesota snow).
