Default Tire Question

I am thinking about getting 17x9 wheels with 4.75” backspace. What size tire should I get? No lift, no spacers, no pinch mod. How big can I go without rubbing? 2005 Grand Cherokee

Well, you're free to do whatever you want, but with no lift and larger diameter wheels that means a lower profile tire which is the absolute worst thing for a 4x4.

Search for a tire size calculator/comparison online. 235/75R15 is supposed to be the biggest that will fit on a stock XJ; I dunno if a Grand is the same.

That looks good. Seen one of them yesterday with low profiles on it, and it looked horrible. It had a lift and maybe 3" worth of sidewall, if that.
