my km2's work great. they have to be aired low to work well though. but once you pass that point they are awesome.
I have crawled all over stuff very similar jeeps were spinning on with other tires.
i would run them again.
That being said though, my next tire will be a 37" radial pitbull rocker. I have been hearing awesome stuff about them. but for the typical jeep the km2 is great

of the 2 tires listed id say go with the KM2 they are somewhat hard compound so not as great as others in the rocks but great road/All/Mudd terain... as far as other tires i would say the best out there is the Krawlers (stickies) even warn out they will climb anything. Also a good alternative to KM2 with comparable price is the Hankook Dynapro MT I was blown away at how well they do all around and may be the next tires i buy but they are not as good as the KM2's on the road (i have seen them go 50-60,000 on a 1 ton dodge pickup at 50 LBS of pressure rotate every 5K miles)
That's funny because I've seen km2's hardly last 40k.
@ Legion1Capone, I like that Handle There, I been in Tire Dealer Industry almost 10 years now & the Km2 is THE BEST All around,"MUD" Tire there is on the market today, PERIOD! End of Conversation everytime! But, & there HAS to be a BUT somewhere, They ALL AROUND PART leaves the conversation there is & prob always will be the TSL, In all its LOUD AS F&** Splendor! If its not a everyday, touring type driver then by all Means Theyre great offroad! Yes I've used them, "Used Tires that prob wouldve been disposed of if they werent TSLs" even 1 step short of these things gonna kill me on the road still did just short of perfect offroad! No dealings with the pitbull tyres, heard good, heard bad, My fave is hands down the BFG AT/KO 100K outta every set ive owned, from F250 4door, 2 sets now! & my 78 bronco, & soon prob on the XJ! If I don't opt for the Km2s! GL! Let us know the feedback from your personal uses, Oh & the only reason I'm thinkin At's is cause I live in FL& we aint got all that agressive trails, unless we mud boggin, I dont need Mudders!
100k. LOL! (I think this is the first time I've ever used "lol" so this is epic)
I will be driving it on the street every once in a while, but it will mainly be for offroad. If your going to build something weather it's a sports car, 4x4, etc. Build it for a specific purpose. So yes it will be mainly for offroading, but it would be nice to still have somewhat of a quite tire on the road for the long road trips to mountains. I looked and read a bunch of stuff about the pitbull crawlers and they get great reviews and look damn good!
Could someone post a pic of 35" pitbull crawlers on an XJ?

Mickey Thompson Radial MTZ's. I don't need mud tires, except after the horribly infrequent rainstorms. Will they fir stock 15 x 7 rimes? I'm not going to go bigger until I can lift my stock '99. Oh, my driving will be 50/50 desert rocks and sand and on-road.
