Me and a buddy got ours the same week, him KM2s and me MTZs. His were less than half tread and chunked up by 20k. I sold mine with over 30K and 3/4 tread. I went everywhere he did and some places he couldn't. Same size, well mine actually measured over an inch taller and wider as well.

Agreed! But without hearing the terrain, my buddy has the mtr I have the duratrac. I have had no problems going anywhere he has gone. Another buddy has the bfg a/t an he likes them. If you re looking for a good all around tire with an aggressive tread, I'd go with the Goodyear duratrac.

my 33x10.5 km2s walk through mud.
had them in 2 foot swamp mud the other day and kept my xj in 2 wheel and it just walked right through and didnt even spin. they dig in and find traction and go alot better than my previous mud tires. they look great. and have almost no road noise.

I will be using them as a go anywhere tire. From the mossy rocks, logs, and washes in the northwest to the desert trails in AZ. I want a tire that can do well in all types of terrain.

Is price a factor?

No price is not really a factor as most 35 inch tires start somewhat expensive anyways.
