okay so that last time i went trail riding my jeep started running like crap again so we stopped to try and fix it, so we tried to see if some relays were bad and then we unplugged the throttle position sensor and it ran just fine. So we think that might be the problem, but i looked on ebay and so parts store and there not cheap.
Do you think i could just get by with out even having it cuz it runs just fine with out it being on?

It can be hit or miss but check out your local junkyard, I've gotten a few extra sensors from there before, usually there only like 5 bucks or they just let you take them. Also are you were that your tps is adjustable?

In my 25 years of being a mechanic, I've only replaced a handful of throttle position sensors out of the thousands of cars and trucks that I've worked on. You guys are too quick to just start throwing expensive parts at your Jeeps in hopes it cures the problem.
