well if they are directional, which is weird for an MT tire. it means that u can only rotate them driver side front to back and pass front to back. thats the only bad thing. i dont know about the quality of that tire. Are you sure they have directional arrows on the side wall??
i think you maybe alittle confused about the meaning of "directional"
That type of tire is usually found on sports car tires. if i missunderstood, i appologize.

well you know how we rotate our tires? driver rear goes to passenger front. and pass rear goes to drvr front. then the 2 fronts go straight back.
i always thought that if you have " directional tires" then its rotation is as i stated above.
I don't know... now i'm really CORFUSED....

Your directional tires will clean out mud or snow better than non
directional tires. Some of my ATV friends tried mounting their tires
backwards to gain more traction, but they lost traction.
When rotating the directional tires, just keep it simple, go front to back,
same side...

If you rotate them, you'll just have to swap front and rears, keeping the tires on the same side. Not a big deal, the Iroks I have on my truck are directional (never rotate my tires though).
Ive never run Yokohama tires though, so cant tell you anything about those tires. I kinda like the tread pattern, always have wondered how they performed. But being directional isnt a big deal.

I actually ran that exact size of that tire on a Dakota a while back, they do really well in the mud and for a narrowish MT they're also quite civilized on the beach as well. Only downsides are they're expensive and hard to find, and being directional they started to get really cupped and noisey really fast and short of dismounting the tires every oil change to rotate the tires semi-properly there was no way to fix it. As much as I liked their looks and performance I would not run them again because of it.
