bias TSLs aren't that bad on the road honestly. I DD on mine and in almost 10k miles they have only worn a little bit (mostly weird cupping and feathering because they are not balanced)

never ran the tsl radials, but i ran the tsl bias and they were junk on and off the road. its old technology, any modern mud terrain out performed them in every condition I encountered.

Look at maxxis bighorns. Old style Mtr tread pattern, wear nice, and decent sidewalls, and affordable.

Cooper STTs are a great radial tire, strong side walls for a radial, great traction, good on the highway, and not a bad price.
I also like the Interco bias TSL on my CJ2A but I don't drive it much on the highway and the CJ2A with 5.38 gears only does 45-50 mph. lol

Claws dont look good at side hillin. Seems like more of a deep mud tire than somethin for trails.

If your talking about the new ones Iv never really cared for the tread design but I like the ones that look like guard dogs. Iv heard a few people say they didnt like the baja claws and a bunch of people who said they love em. I figured with the way they are designed that they would do pretty good.
