ive got 1.5 shacles and love them. On stock springs it will stiffen the ride a little but not as much as an add a leaf. if your putting them on new leaf packs then you want even notice them. great way to get a little extra lift.

I run the rubicon express shackle that has the grease zerk on it, on my stock leafs. Thing made a world of difference on the ride in my jeep. Wont damage anything as long as their tightened and greased.

I just put in my lift shackles and boy did it make me realize how bad I need new leaf springs. They put a lot more pressure on your leaf springs, so if yours are saggy, consider new leaf springs while your at it. My leaf springs are arching the wrong way like a frown. The shackles are great, though, and I'm getting new leafs tomorrow from the JY.
