Thinking about an Add-a-Leaf? DONT!
CLIFFNOTES : ADDALEAFS SAGGGGG LIKE A BIOTCH.
So like many people on here, ive lifted my jeep. And also like many I tried to do it as frugally as possible. But it came back to bite me. You hear everyone say "Itlll sag" But I thought "Oh I can deal with a little bit of difference in order to save a few bucks" But it gets to the point that it looks terrible.
In This first picture, it was the day I put the lift on. As you can see there it quite a bit of difference, but it wasn't too bad and better than stock.
Well one year later. the front wheel gap, was 8.5 inches while the rear gap was 5!!! 3.5 inch difference! Are you kidding me?!?
I finally did a bastard pack to get it pretty close..
So in conclusion : don't go the cheap route on the rear springs.

Was it a short add a leaf?
My long add a leaf has been almost two years now and is working great.
New spring are always better. Well......unless they are crap ones that are too short and cause you to buy a relocation kit or just bad shackle angle. LOL
