Things a Cherokee key can do...
It's funny how a key meant to unlock and start just your vehicle can do so much more.
Today at work, I got into the forklift, dug into my pockets for the Forklift key, and absent mindingly held up my XJ key. I laughed, said screw it, and put it in the ignition anyway to see if it'd fit.... It did lmao. Turned to start, Ding, Forklift was on.
For some reason I pulled the key out while it was still on. The Forklift was still on haha, I had to shove the XJ key back in it to turn it off, since the outer part of lock cylinder didn't turn.
I've been *****ing about getting a key to the forklift for a year, and I find out my XJ key could have done it all along...

Could happen ... but oddly enough that's all his key could do. Couldn't start it or unlock the passenger side door or the trunk. Really weird. But don't sweat it ... it could be that my DS lock is quirky - and that's likely since it won't disengage the alarm when I turn the key. But the passenger side will.

My tow pig and jeep use the the same ignition and door locks. I did that so I only carry one set of keys. Open mail, turn screws, go after my ex's yota's fancy paint (J/K). Lower the pressure in my boggers for the trail.

Held between the middle & ring fingers with the plastic end inside your fist, it can give you quite an advantage in a fist fight.

Mine opens packages and starts the jeep but I don't think I have ever used it to lock the doors. Just no need for it here. Plus kinda pointless to lock the doors when my rear window is busted out lol.
However my key did fail at opening the battery cover to a remote, snapped right in half. This was one of the remotes where I work that has the batteries locked in with a screw. Normally you can just pop the cover off even with the screw in there but this one was fighting back.
Luckily I have about 3 extra sets so its not a big deal.

I'm more displeased by you guys being able to open packages with yours, than being able to start other XJs. Everytime I try to open boxes with my key it slides away, I always have to use my house key lmao.
