Default are these long arms really an upgrade?

i saw a teraflex long arm kit today. it was 2 straight dom tubes with bushings on each end and frame brackets. doesn't touch the uppers. is this really an upgrade for us? i would think this would be something i could make fairly easily but it it really any better than the adjustable uppers and lowers im already running? just wondering

If its that? Looks pretty junky to me.

Building a long arm kit isn't hard if you have some fab skills. Just get a 2x6 to replace your t-case crossmember, notch it to fit the mounts inside. 4 dom tubes, decide if you want to run JJs or solid bushings either both sides or one side, measure 4000 times and weld it up.

Suspicions proven: Heres from NAXJA:

If that's your plan, scrap it.
There is a reason hardly anyone uses that kit. With lowers that long and uppers that short, you will get horrible pinion dive when the suspension cycles.
That is one of the worst kits ever made.
