Tail Light Guards - Why Are They So Hard to Find?
Guys, I don't know how to tell you this, but some people have.... different tastes. I know it's a shock, but it's true. We don't all like the same thing. Some people like things like tail light guards, and some don't. (mind-blowing I know)
My XJ is my daily driver, but it also takes me to hard to get to campsites & as close to the Sipsey River & Bear Creek as possible so I can drop my kayak in.
It also takes us to some pretty incredible places in our country's National Parks where 4 wheel drive is needed. Like here in Canyonlands (http://www.nps.gov/cany/planyourvisit/driving.htm) Probably my favorite place on earth.
That's what me and my family do. We travel. We take backroads. We kayak.
I don't take my XJ down trails that might destroy her, but I don't begrudge people that do.
I don't understand this weird mentality some of you guys have regarding why I'd like a pair of tail light guards. What's it to you?

BTW...Moab is my favorite place on earth. Canyonlands however is not. While beautiful, if my dog can't go, I don't go. Cliffhanger is a much better option. Deuce coppers.

Well, you're taking people's comments about hard wheeling really personal is all. I mention it (and even said it wasn't a burn) and you took it as some kind of attack on your manhood. OD did the same, and again you took it as an attack on your manhood. Sgt. Hulka says
When someone comes on a thread and starts saying things like "well you must not wheel hard," it immediately comes off as a dick measuring contest. Why would a random internet stranger give a **** how hard I wheel unless they were looking for a response?

Well "you," is a pronoun and it was directed at me. Kinda hard to do anything except not take a statement directed at me personally.

Whatevs brah. If you like cruising the loops at CL with your family, more power to you. It wasn't a stab. Some people DO wheel harder than others. Some don't. If you choose to see things as a measuring contest, that's your business. I wasn't trying to get you worked up, you did that all on your own. That's why I stated it wasn't directed at you as a burn from the get go. Sorry you ignored that and took it the wrong way anyhow. So, as stated above: CL, ebay or make your own. Seacrest OUT

And don't mistake my sarcasm for me being worked up.

You're right. I imagined words like "mall crawler, shopping carts," and "they protect from leaves." I also imagined pictures of tin-foil tail light guards, comments about twizzlers and a bunch of other totally made up dickish sentiments. Yeah this one's all on me.
And don't mistake my sarcasm for me being worked up.

God who cares. I ride my mountain bike offroad, not my Jeep. I can ride harder stuff than everyones sweet hillbilly limo can on a 28 pound carbon fiber motorcycle with no engine. Nerds!
Enough trolling?
