So after I lifted my Jeep I never hooked up the front sway bar, didn't get longer links. After driving it with out the front sway bar since January I don't see myself ever hooking it back up, think I might just take my plasma cutter to the mounts on the axle and unbolt the thing and trash it.
I'm sure I will catch some flak by some for not running the front but hey its been almost 5 months without it. I've had to do a couple evasive maneuvers dodging deer and a wicked pot hole, the suspension as it is, is pretty solid, the body roll is noticeable but not to the point of over correction mistakes.
How many others just removed the front sway bar completely?

I along with many others have taken the sway bar off completey, some will say it's a bad idea, but you are obviously familiar with how your jeep handles without it, so I say trash it. That's what I did, and never looked back

8 months with no sway bars on my jeep. Plenty of long freeway trips and swerving around town no problems at all. The dead spot in my steering has been 10x more problematic/dangerous than my no sway bars which I dont even notice
Leave them off if you feel comfortable. Keep them on if you dont

First thing I did to my XJ was take the sway bars off. Actually, that's the first thing I do to any 4x4 I buy. Its really not a big deal, its not gonna make it too dangerous to drive or anything like that like so many people seem to think.
