Has anyone ever swapped a steering wheel in a 95 with cruise to a newer 01 style wheel with cruise. 01 Clock spring seems to have different connections not sure if I can make this work with all cruise functions.

 

Short answer it won't work,both air bags are two totally different systems.And i believe they changed the steering wheel shaft spline between the two years.

 

Thanks. Any ideas on how to upgrade steering to anything else on a 95 and keep the cruise?

 

Your pretty much stuck with your style steering wheel.Is yours wore out or you just want something newer ?
