swap a 93 2wd to a 4wd (from a 88 )

Default swap a 93 2wd to a 4wd (from a 88 )

i need help!!! i have a1988 4.0 4x4, the motor is blown. but i have 1993 4.0 2wd. is it a straight forward swap? will the transmission in the 93 bolt up to all of the 4x4 components or do i have to swap the 88 tranny ito the 93??? is their any vacuum hoses involved with the 4wd system??can i use the rear end from the 93(not sure what it is but i know its stock for 93 2wd).does the 93 2wd have electrical for 4x4 in the dash? this is my 1st swap like this!!!!!!!!!so can i convert my 1993 2wd into 4wd using the 1988 4wd system????????

Use the search icon at the top. It's been done a bunch of time! I would use both axles strait out of the 88, cause you know the gears are the same. As far as the tranny, & tcase Idk if they will mate up (that's where the search comes in)
