I run a 3 inch RC lift and honestly it holds up pretty well for the price. I haven't had any other lifts before since its my first jeep but I take that thing offroading very often and it performs awesome. If you don't mind a bit stiffer ride then ur good. Ill post some pics here soon. I got the kit that includes the lower control arms which is like 350$ or something like that

Piece together a kit it'll save you money over a pre packaged kit.

I run a 3.5" Rubicon Express/ Teraflex Hybrid with Bilstein Shocks.

Why even start a thread if you're going to go with what you were originally thinking and not take any advice?

Not sure why he just blew a bunch of money if you are already planning on replacing everything.

Yeah... Unfortunate he used money that way. Do you know if he got the full leaf packs at least?

I think you should just say "thanks dad" because its a free lift. Maybe its all you will actually need based on how you use your XJ.

We only got the add-a-leafs but its all installed now and I love it! Gotta nice set of 31's and I think it's definitely good enough for me. Dad knows what's up haha. But he made a good point this jeeps gotta get me through college and if I wanna trail you it'd be just about as good to buy an old one and fix it up myself. Be a fun project too. Thanks for all the input from everyone tho!
