Default Suspension Advice - Rookie

I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Looking for a 4-5.5 inch suspension lift, with shocks. Best kits around? Price isn't really an issue, don't want the cheapest one but not looking to spend $10,000 lol. Mostly for mud use and a little rock crawling, nothing too major. Any help would be awesome. Stuck between the IRO 5.5 and the RE 4.5.
Preferably a short arm too

If you want a bad *** kit go with the rubicon express 5.5" extreme duty long arm kit. Itll run you a decent bit but well worth it. You will also need an sye to illiminate driveline vibrations. Go with bilsteins and you'll be set

I wanna stay away from long arms, just because I really don't need them and I don't know the control. I've only driven short arm so I want to master that then step up. With my luck, i'll roll it the first climb lol

Its not much different. Short arms are gonna give a poor ride over 4-4.5 inches

true true... what modifications to the driveshaft/rear would have to be made though?

A cv drve shaft or a d shaft off the front of an xj. Could go with a hack n tap or a full sye
