Sucking air
My 4.0 1989 cherokee sounds like it`s sucking air really hard all the sudden.
I looked for vacuum leaks and or disconnected hoses stuff but could`t find any leaks or anything disconnected.
One of the symptoms I noticed is when I hit the throttle the sucking sound goes away completely until the revs catch up to it then starts that sound again.
It`s a fairly loud sucking sound and it seems to be coming from the drivers side of the valve cover just in front of the throttle body. (But not from the throttle body,) but I just don`t think its possible for it to come from where it sounds like its coming from. I also noticed the fuel economy seems to be down, and maybe a little harder to start. (if thats possible with these things,,*lol*.)
Thanks all for the help.
