suburban hill climbs=fun!
About a mile and a half from my house there are a few subdivisions with a huge field in between them. There are lots of fun dirt paths out there, along with two 30 or so foot dirt hills with steep sides.
My friends and I decided to have some fun climbing these hills in our trucks.
Tanner's 1993 GMC Yukon-took about twenty tries, engine stalled twice, but with the help of 4L, we made it. This thing weighs 6xxx lbs and has open diffs.
My brother's 1994 POS-10 blazer could not make it even in 4L.
My Jeep made it on the third try in 4L.
Travis' 1984 F150 with about a foot of lift, 37" tires, locked front and LSD rear and a built 351 couldn't make it because the front driveshaft isn't in. Got halfway up in 2WD.
XJ is the clear winner this round.
