I have a 12 inch rockford with a 150 watt rockford amp. I also have JL 6.5's all around and a JVC head unit (which is a piece of crap)

6x9's won't fit without modification to the sound bar. Just tried it today. I had to use 6.5" all the way around

got one JL 12w6 in a sealed box on an alpine mrp-m500. cheap jvc head unit and kenwood components up front and co-ax in the rears all 6.5". soon to be upgraded to 2 w6s on a fosgate bd1000 and an alpine m300 4 channel amp. extra battery and upgraded alternator. got the big three done just the other day. heres a few pics of the build. didnt want just a box floppin around so i extended the baffle and top to fit the rear contours and wedge in tight. happy with the sound and clean appearance. cant wait for my 2nd one

I don't mean to be a nit picker, but you should really take it out and make the internal box bigger, by almost 2 times as big for maximum sound and quality

jls website says recomended enclosure for sealed is 1.25 cubes.

soo..8.5 x17.5 x15.5 =2305.625 cubic inches.
divide by 1728 to get cubic feet and that gives you 1.334
minus .09 for the subs displacement comes to 1.244 cubic feet.

damn near perfect and makes your vision blurry when the bass drops.

when i add the 2nd sub it will be over double the size and i will port it tuning it to about 35hz.

heres the link to the sub. click sealed enclosure specs. shocked me at how small the box needed to be for it. but built it to that and it sounds phenominal lol
