stuck in the rain with the doors off

Default stuck in the rain with the doors off

i believe many of us have done the doorlees mod ....who has bin stuck in the rain????? i woke up to it raining its *** off..an of course all 4 doors are off an the back choped.i go to cover it up an it reminds me of last week when i got stuck driving 50 miles home in a down pour

My widow doesnt go up....does that count? One time it was raining and I just draped a tarp over the door opening...other than that, no.

nt really ...it wouldnt have bin that bad if the plastic inner fender covers were in

Not in my XJ, but in my CJ, I left my top at home over 100 miles away. Everyone that was passing me was honking and laughing, except for all the Jeeps that passed me, they all gave me the thumbs up. It wasn't actually that bad. Couldn't use the windshield wipers because it only cleared the front of the windshield. Good thing it was a warm evening!

ill have to find a picture of my buddies XJ

his doors were off and it was raining while he was at work....so he wrapped the openings with seran wrap and sealed it off.

Ok so I have to ask..This never dawned on you when you started cuting jeep up ? and taking doors off ?

WHAT if it RAINS ? lol

it did an that day i knew it wuz going to rain....i wuz testing to see how wet i would get ...just rained more then they said it would

well, with my 93 i bedlined the whole interior, had drain holes, vinyl seats, and water/mud proofed everything under my dash....

i was prepared for water and rain..

That's exactly why I wouldn't remove the doors. Learned that lesson, a long time ago with a K-5 Blazer, And the top off.
