Default Stripped the nut to my seat frame...

So as title says i stripped the nut to my seat frame Damn. What do i do now? Is it just a stud ? so i could remove the stud and be set ? or do i need a nut splitter and then just replace it ? what should i do ? I keep trying vice grips but they keep slipping on it! Help as i have new seats coming in soon!

Are you talking about a nut on the drivers or passenger seat? If so I would try the nut splitter, if that doesn't work then break the bolt and drill it out then weld a bolt to a washer and put it through the hole then weld the washer to the floor from under your jeep then spray it all with like undercoating

The nut on the driver side, that holds the seat bracket down. Is it just a screw in stud like the transfer case studs? if so ill just take it out and replace it but i have to find a nut splitter first. i dunno....
