Strange Lug Nut Problem
Ok, so I put in new wheel bearings and axle seals in my D35 a couple days ago, put everything back together and all was well. Today I was checking over the tire pressure and noticed one lug on the passenger rear was loose. The problem is that the lug nut wont loosen or tighten. It's as if the actual lug has become loose w/ the lug nut still stuck to it without actually being tight to the wheel. Does anyone have any clue how to remove this or tighten it back up? Its kinda got me stumped.
Thanks in advance,
David

Hey, lucky you, i did the same thing tonight. fortunately i work at a body shop. I took our plasma cutter and just destroyed the hell out of my lug and stud. I was painting the rims anyways, but it works. As for getting a new stud in there and buying new lugs, that's for tomorrow

if the nut is tight on the threads, the only way to get it off without any damage would be to pull the axle out and grind the back of the stud.
