Motor Trend magazine carried an article referring to a study on power and efficiency done by Germany's version of SAE. They're conclusion was cylinders of 500cc capacity were the sweetest spot for power & efficiency.

Yes, the Hurricane 3.0TT (two versions of it... low and high outputs) is already offered on the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, as well as the 2025 RAM 1500. It will replace the 5.7L and 6.4L HEMI V8's, as the HEMI is (unfortunately) dead after 2024, except for the 6.4L unit in the HD RAM pickups (2500HD/3500HD/4500HD/5500HD). I'm excited about its return, but it's still no 4.0 with natural aspiration. I hope it will make its way onto the Grand Cherokee. For some reason, they still show the 5.7L HEMI V8 as being available on the higher trims of the 2024 Grand Cherokee. I didn't think it was.
