Just visited my camp before flying back overseas after Thanksgiving. Left my 2000 Cherokee Sport parked and locked with full tank of high-test dosed with Stabilo. Won't see it again for five months, maybe even six... wish me luck.
Use Startron in the gas. Stabil has a shelf life, check the label. Startron will last longer and does a better job. It mediates the ethanol in the gasoline as well cleaning and protecting the fuel system.
Be sure to put a little extra in the tank instead of using the daily driver amount and run it long enough for the Startron to get into the injectors.
I assume you're in the Armed Forces..... Thank You For Your Service, DR

Startron, huh? Okay, will do next time. Shudda asked around beforehand.
In my defense, mechanic friend recommended Stabil
Didn't realize Stabil has that short a lifespan. I filled with high-test because where I buy it says no ethanol. At least I put in Stabil before jolting five miles on frozen dirt road in 4Hi first and second, then ten miles 2Hi on blacktop so should be thoroughly mixed and enroute to injectors. I did overdose Stabil slightly.
Always appreciate good advice. Thank you.
