Default Stolen Center Cap

You guys ever have your center caps stolen? I just ONE (!) of mine ripped off. After nearly 20 years it's gone. Sort of sad in a sentimental way.

Now the junkyards don't have any and to order one is obscenely expensive. Anyone have one they would be willing to send me?

Never stolen, but fallen off while I am driving yes. Thankfully got rid of those wheels.

hard to believe it was stolen, seeing how they bolt to the wheel from inside.

well if they didn't steal it they broke it off. Theres little friction tabs that hold it on, you can pull if off with a screwdriver if you're careful

Those do not bolt to the wheel from the inside. Those are snapped on the exterior.

The ones on both my TJ and wife's XJ have 3 small bolt head screws that hold them on.

Perhaps they wanted them, pried one off and realized the mounting was broke, so they chucked it and moved on.

I've had good luck with using Wanted Ad's on Kijiji to get caps for cheap. I have 2 sets as I've painted one set flat black, and haven't decided which I like better (silver are being run now). They are definitely held on by 3 little bolts/screws from the back side of the rim..
