Some xjs came with the tow hook brackets so you could try the jy, or you could buy new, here's an example. http://www.quadratec.com/products/76045_802.htm

I highly recommend the Rustys' tow hook kit:
http://www.rustysoffroad.com/rustys-...ok-kit-xj.html

Very solid. I just installed them; they come with the tow hooks (but you can order them without the hooks), the tow hook keepers, and all the bolts you need. The metal is laser cut from 1/4-inch steel. Here are some pictures:

I know tow hooks are very practical, but I prefer D-ring shackles strictly for aesthetic reasons, is there any way to run d-rings on the Rusty's or any other setup on a factory pre-96 front bumper?
