yeah i know its frowned upon but i needed a budget lift to get these tires to fit, also i just turned 18 on the 25th and this is my first lift, the cherokee is a 2wd and im not planning on doing any hard core offroading and i thought it was a good lift to fit my needs, money is tight, and i just need a lift to fit the 30" tires i have with 1.25" spacers i just bought, money is tight and it seemed like a good enough lift for a 2wd cherokee, what is so bad about the blocks though? i havent heard many bad things, except axel wrap which i hear isnt a problem on cherokees

Blocks do cause axle wrap.
Heres a 2in BB from rustys for $100

AAL can firm up the ride and make it "bad". Also an AAL can sag overtime, but a sagging AAL is better that blocks.

Even though this applies to front blocks, the same physics can be applied to the rear axle under acceleration and under extreme cornering.
Look at the pictures in this thread.

There are people on here and people with other vehicles that run blocks without incident. Personally, I would never run blocks but that's me. You've gotta make that call. No one can say for sure if your going to be ok or if your going to run into trouble. Just MAKE POSITIVE that you tighten your ubolts and center pin AND RECHECK THEM. I rechecked mine twice. Once after 200 miles and again after another 200 and they loosened up a bit both times.
