I found a 92 sport today on C/L , the seller said 92 and earlier have electronics and creature comforts and those years have a less problems with the 4.0
Is this true? The only comforts I want is fuel injection and auto trans.

Any input on the subject?

 

92 has obd1 computer. All vehicles have their problems

 

Any cherokee you get will be efi setup. I think there ma have been a year or two of tbi setup if I'm not mistaken. But 86 and up should be efi. If you get I think ore 95 youll have obd1 and 95 and up it will be obd2 which is more favored easier to scan a find dtcs.
