Steering upgrade.
Ok well my TRE's are shot as well as my drag link. I was thinking about doing the zj upgrade with new parts, no jy ****. But then I started thinking about saving some money and getting the rusty's steering kit. Who on here has their steering setup and would you recommend it? Is it worth the $300 or not?

I have it and it is scary to drive on the road. The tie rod is weak and I can literally get it to bend by pushing and pulling on it. It also has so much slop and a bad dead spot in it. I would not recommend it to anyone. I hate it so much that I ordered JCR's 1 ton OTK steering as my upgrade. It's sitting in the garage with a fresh coat of paint and will be installed this weekend. The online pics were deceiving. I couldn't believe how beefy it was when I opened the box.

I recently finished doing the V8 ZJ steering upgrade and the steering feels awsome solid now. Everything that was on mine was worn out and It had a bad death case of wobble before the upgrade. I used all new parts too not JY junk.
1) #DS1312 TRE (long) $35.00
1) #DS1238 Drag link $57.50
2) #ES3096 TRE (short) $19.00 ea. $38.00 (one goes on the drag link, the other on the tie rod)
1) #ES2079S Adjuster sleeve $13.00
--------
$143.50 + Tax (of course)
I also installed a Pro Comp steering stabilizer #EXP219200 $27.25.

Would these work on a 2000 Cherokee?
Thx in advance.

Same from beginning to end of production. Not sure what brand you used for rod ends but I know threw rockauto you can replace everything in the steering with MOOG parts for about $200.
