Default steering stabilizers

Alright,

Whats the difference between the standard and heavy duty steering stabilizers? Are the worth the extra money?

depends on what lift and suspension you have or plan on having, mine has pretty much every suspension part upgraded except the steering stabilizer and it handles great no death wobble..

All they do is soften the feel a bit. The bigger ones do a little more due to size. If your steering isn't right they won't do much and'll wear out quick. I haven't run one on mine in several years and don't have death wobble or bump steer.

I needed one real bad. I was a 5 inches of lift with heavy Super Swampers and I got terrible death wobble if I went past 30 mph. Got an upgraded stabilizer from RC and it eliminated it completely.

Mines rusted and leaking and just looks like garbage so i wanna replace it because its an eye sore and Im sure its not doing anything helpful.

So basically with 2in lift you wont tell the difference?

My front end is driving me crazy right now. New tires. Driveway alignment. Everything appears to be in good shape with steering components and still have dw. With the New tires it made it a lot better but there is still a bump i can hit and it'll do it every time

I am running a little over 7" of lift with 33's, and am still on the stock stabilizer and no issues.. but if you are saying yours is falling apart anyways.. what does it hurt to spend $35 is on a new aftermarket stabilizer?? I'll be ordering my RC stabilizer after I get back stateside. It may not fix all of your DW woes.. but it certainly cant' hurt then..

My thoughts exactly. I know everyone says its useless and you don't need one, but i tend to believe that if i didn't need it, it wouldn't be there.

*Im not looking to start an argument*
