You have something out of spec in tour fro t suspension.

Could be worn steering components, could be bad tires. Just gotta poke around and see what can be fixed.

Have someone get in it, start it up, and saw back and forth on the wheel fairly rapidly while you get under the front of it and watch all your steering components for sloppy movement. That includes all 4 tie rod ends, and both ends of your track bar. Also Jack it up, grab ahold of the wheel and see if there's any slop in the wheel bearing or ball joints. Then look at the condition of your tires, are they wearing unevenly? May also need an alignment, and new tires.

well, alot of newbs generally have no idea what I'm talking about when I say drag link, lol. So yes, the tie rod end at the pitman arm, at the passenger spindle, where the tie rod connects to the drag link, and the driver spindle. When you go to replace them they usually call them all inner or outer tie rod ends anyway.

Well I took off my big tires and put on my stock ones and it doesn't wobble and runs amazing! But im kinda pissed cause it looks sissy now. And my big tires only have like 3000 miles? So I don't think it would be the tread and I just got them balenced and rotated like a week and a half ago

Have you checked if the weights they added when they balanced them are still there? Maybe you just keep throwing your weights after two weeks, that would explain it working fine for a bit after an alignment/balance and then coming right back just the same.

Maybe it wasn't balanced right... Or maybe you track bar bushings are bad and the bigger tires amplify it? What kind of tire is it some tires are known to be crappy to balance.

I have this problem! Im in a 94 xj stock standard and lately its started squirming all over the road past 70 kph. I've replaced ball joints and had an alignment and rotation but to no benefit. Im at a loss.

again, check out the ends of that track bar (the bar from the driver's side frame rail to the passenger side axle), and those tie rod ends. Bigger tires will NOT be the source of your death wobble unless they are not balanced properly. BUT they might make it more noticable. going back to a smaller tire does not make it go away, it just makes it a little less noticable... for now. That's only temporary. Figure out which parts are wearing out, and replace them.

also, don't replace the Steering Stabilizer shock and think it's fixed! Yes, in most cases this will cover it up... but that's only temporary, and the problem is not solved. You still have worn or damaged components in your steering.
