That's what I am thinking about doing. Might end up using some tube for the bull bar part instead of the square, based on the recommendations here.

One reason I was avoiding tube and using the square is because I don't have a tube bender. I may end up just cutting the tube to the size I need, then take it somewhere to have them bend it for me.
