Speakers!
So I have eight kicker 6x9's all in seperatewedges. My jeep cherokee has two 10" subs and a 500watt amp. Is there a way to install two of then into the rear door? I dont want only bass so I dont want to connect to amp.

Connecting 6x9's to a amp wont only give you more bass. I'm assuming they have tweeters built in, which will give you mids and highs. However the amp should not be overpowering the speakers.
You can hook the speakers up to the factory radio, however they will only put out the radio will, which if these speakers are any amount of good, they will most likely need a bit more power than that.
Just replacing the speakers will improve sound quality a little, but if you hook these up to an amplifier you will have more tuning abilities and get a overall better sound.

Ok 6x9s are not meant for bass. To answer your question if you have a 4 channel amp hook it up to the 6x9s and run seperate rca wires to the head unit either to the front or rear output. Then you can adjust your bass and treble on the hu and adjust your level on the amp until you get a nice clean sound out of your mids. Hope this helps any questions let me know.

No you shouldn't do that. You have what is called a mono amp those are used most for subs by themselves. If you hook it up with the sub your either going to blow it, have too much bass in the 6x9, or not enough bass in the sub. If that's all you have then I would just hook the 6x9 up to the head unit. Most stereo equipment that advertises the wattage for example 50 watts is usually only good for probably 25. So the hu should be good for your loss until you decide to upgrade

Ok so you do have a 2 channel. If you decide to get rid of the sub you can run the speakers like you said before. You just need to turn your amp down and adjust to your liking. Once you get it loud and clear sounding you'll love it

yea the amp doesn't have a frequency dial or any adjustment. through the subs you can hear words and the bass isn't very clear. i got the subs and amp together for $100 so i couldn't pass that up. but i am looking for a 4 channel amp that is at least 800 or more.

Can you post a picture of the amp? I think you might have a home theater amp. The only denon I could find was home audio.
