Default so i want to truck my XJ

I've wanted to do this for awhile. Cut the cargo area off and make it a truck bed from the rear seat back. I have a 4 door so its longer. A few people around my area have attempted it. But it looks like garbage. I have scetched out pics of the design and how I want it done. I want to do it right so it will actually be a sealed cabin. And working tail gate. In the bed part I'm undesided if I want to put a tube frame with a canvas removable top. Throw your two cents at me and let me know your opinion

One of the best ones I've seen.
I'd love to build my 2 door into one of these but I really need room for the kids etc.

No idea who's it is.

You don't need deep pockets to make it look good. I have access to plenty of scrap sheet metal and tube. Welders cutters enclosed shop. Ill be fine on money besides getting different lights and getting a canvas top.

I still like the way they look the best when you use a 97+ rear hatch to make the back wall.

That's looks really good. I love the body work done to the hatch. But I'm keeping mine four doors. And might add to the bed. I don't expect it to be easy. But I have a nak for creating custom work. I've been blessed by having a fab shop to play at since I was 5. I'm only 21 but have deffinatly learned a lot. And will learn more as I go.
