SUPER GLUE IT!
Who needs zipties or Duct tape when you have super glue. Ok it takes more time for the Glue to dry but then your back on the road!
Oh did i mention the super glue was to glue your ***** to your winch cable? Not sure why that would help, but at least your doing something to take up the time you will be spending on the hill.

With enough baling wire and duct tape, that XJ could be back on the road in no time.
I always carried duct tape and baling wire in my Harley's tool pouch.
They both came in handy more times than i can remember!

That's way beyond duct tape and zip ties. That's well into baling wire territory, maybe even plumber's tape.
