What's the cheapest way for this? I never rely on mirrors alone, and since XJs are essentially greenhouses, I've never had trouble with blindspots or anything.
I'm just looking for the easiest way to stay legal when I pop my doors off

take like a bike mirror or something and weld it to a bolt a nd drop it in the hinge hole with a tab so it cant spin.
I cant imagine this costing more than 10 bucks.

I built this mirror mount to keep the man happy! I have not found anything legal that says i cant remove my doors, but i did find out that in Colorado you have to have 1 outside mirror, I have run without doors for the past 8 years and have yet to be stopped for no doors!
It's a thin piece of steel with a bolt welded to the back by the head, and the mirror attached with 3M double sided tape.
When i lift off my doors, i just slip this into the upper hinge hole.
Topic over! Thanks guys. Why didn't I think of popping something onto the tab in the first place? Who knows.
Wow!! I was just about to show you the simple version that i made for the passenger side---I'm hurt---Somebody hold me...
